:We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III - QA / DevOps Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate & Investment Bank Markets Technology Team you will participate in all aspects of e-trading SDLC from designing, building, testing to deployment with a focus on infrastructure, administrative, operational tasksNote: This role requires working in EMEA shift time from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST, with overlap with NA team.Job Responsibilities

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify requirements
• Work on Functional testing to confirm the software runs as per the business requirements
• Help with or implement solution of test automation
• Build out and enhance Development environments
• Handle release management, such as integrating changes into release tickets for various applications and coordinating / communicating with stakeholders
• Share responsibility of support for Dev, UAT, and Production with teammates
• Work closely with a best-in-class trading business on projects that directly impact revenue
• Work on Low Latency Trading Platforms and middle/back office systems

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Strong analytical development skills, solid understanding of computer science fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
• Experience on GUI Automation tools like Test Complete, Selenium, UFT(QTP)
• Knowledge of scripting languages like VB and Java Scripting

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• The ideal candidate should be qualified with degree level in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
• Good understanding of FIX and other financial messaging protocols is preferred
• Proficiency in programming using Java is a big plus
• Experience in test automation tools and Framework designing
• Experience with GIT, Jira, Confluence, Wiki
• Experience in using Jenkins pipelines using containers for Java, NodeJS, .NET and with building CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) using other software solutions is a plus.
• Experience with code quality scanning and code coverage tools like Sonar, Coverity, Jacoco, Corbetura, etc. is a plus
