We believe in high quality engineering culture to engineer our platforms with customer and platform mindset, design for large enterprise scale and resilience, and accelerate market innovation into the technical platforms we deliver.As part of this team, you will have a large impact on the evolution of next generation Cloud services for Bank of America and explore an extensive list of new technologies that will drive innovation across our company.We are looking for a Containers Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Engineering Leader to deliver PaaS and Container orchestration platforms in Private and Public Clouds to accelerate developer productivity and accelerate market innovation into the platforms. This team will be responsible for highly available, secure, and scalable Kubernetes based container orchestration platforms across different infrastructure platforms.Responsible for building and leading a team to deliver technology products and services that meet business outcomes. Ensures people development through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Develops a technology strategy and ensures technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern, Agile solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering, and organizational practices. Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; builds and maintains teams through talent acquisition. Sets maturity objectives and enables individuals/teams to with training & resources to achieve them. Sets and tracks quality and performance objectives. Facilitates performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills. Understands individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback. Manages relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products. Accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams e.g., prioritizing tech debt, compliance, and security items, and supporting audits. Manages a team.*Join our dynamic team as an experienced Golang Developer and lead the development of high-performance and scalable software solutions using the Go programming language. Your expertise in Go, microservices architecture, and efficient coding practices will be instrumental in creating robust and efficient applications. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will play a critical role in all phases of software development, from project inception and architecture to rigorous testing and successful deployment, ensuring our software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance.Responsibilities*

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using the Go programming language, with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate project requirements into well-designed and efficient code.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the delivery of high-quality and error-free software.
• Stay up to date with the latest Go language updates, industry trends, and best practices to continually enhance development processes.
• Optimize software applications for maximum performance and efficiency, taking advantage of Go\'s concurrency capabilities.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintain coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software functionality, performance, and integration, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Utilize infrastructure tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Cloud to imbed in the solution development and faster delivery to market.
• Use Various code optimization and code vulnerabilities scanning techniques to keep the solutioning optimized.
• Thinker who keeps security at heart while developing the solutioning to match the industry standards of secure solutioning.
• Collaborate with technical product management and operations, to deliver the engineering roadmap in Agile model.
• Partner with Information Security teams to engineer secure app patterns into Cloud platforms.
• Assist in translating business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for deployment in compliance with architecture standards and policies.
• Promote an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
• Follow and promote best practices in Cloud platforms engineering, cloud operations, cloud-native application development, and cloud platform governance.
• Participate in the creation of blueprints and reference implementations of hybrid cloud container platform.
• Partner with Information Security teams to engineer secure app patterns and have \xe2\x80\x9csecurity from the get-go\xe2\x80\x9d model into Cloud platforms.
• Communicate problems and challenges to drive discussions across key stakeholders \xe2\x80\x93engineering, operations, developers, and leadership.

Requirements*Education*

• Minimum of a 4-year degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or equivalent experience

Experience Range*Overall 8+ Years and minimum 4+ years microservices development experience in Golang on Kubernetes based PaaS cloud platform.Foundational Skills*Golang, REST APIs/ Microservices development, Docker, CICD, Basic Kubernetes

• Excellent understanding of the programming principles, design patterns and OO best practices
• Experience in containers and Kubernetes based container orchestration technologies.
• Experience in delivering large scale solutioning with focus on performance, scale, security, and reliability.
• Experience with leading engineering teams in Cloud-native development approach.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud security.
• Understanding of cloud-native security, monitoring and logging tools, and Well-Architected Framework principals.
• Experience with CICD tools \xe2\x80\x93 Jenkins, pipelines, Tekton, ArgoCd etc.
• Experience in container-native technologies environment such as Basic Kubernetes, Docker, Padman etc.
• Experience in cloud-native logging, monitoring and operations tools \xe2\x80\x93 Splunk, Prometheus, fluentD, etc.
• Experience in infra-automation tools and general programming languages \xe2\x80\x93 Ansible, Java, python, etc.

• Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, Salt
• Experience in Agile development practices and test-driven development
• Demonstrated excellence in organizational and troubleshooting skills.

Desired Skills*ArgoCD, Tekton, Shell/python scripting,Work Timings*40hrs/week in a Global support Model with weekend support on a rotational basis.Job Location*Hyderabad/ Gurugram
