What\'s the role?

• Looking forward for an experienced Software Engineer to be part of a dynamic and innovative team.
• The candidate will be responsible for providing in-depth solutions under minimal supervision using cutting edge technologies to enable building highly accurate map data and location intelligence.
• The candidate shall participate in all stages of software development including refining product vision, gathering requirements, software system design, coding, testing, release, and support and is expected to work with other departments to achieve cross-functional goals to satisfy product expectations.
• The candidate shall follow a documented software development process and contribute to process improvements and ensure software created and released conforms to the quality requirements by accurately writing and executing test plans.
• The candidate shall be open to evaluate and build POCs using newer technologies and tools including open source APIs to address business needs.

Who are you?

• 2-4 years of Java application design and coding experience, in building scalable, high performance applications.
• Strong skills in Java/Scala, J2EE, Web Services/microservices, Oracle database and PL/SQL.
• Worked on performance optimization, memory profiling and scalability of applications (cloud environment would be preferable)
• Knowledge and application of design concepts like Design Patterns, Data Modeling and SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) and test driven development, continuous integration (Jenkins / Hudson) and version control (GIT/Gerrit )
• Quick to evaluate, understand and implement newer technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exhibit strong ownership and ability to work in global team environment
• B.E/B.Tech (Technology/IT/Computer Science or related field). An advanced technical degree will be preferred
