Title: Software Engineer IILocation: Chennai, IndiaDepartment: Business SystemsJob Purpose:As a Software Engineer II, you will be working with a strong team of motivated engineers with a focus on building and delivering REST APIs and backend integration. You will interact with product owners and architects and convert their ideas into software solutions. You will incorporate development best practices and set examples by using them in the solutions you build. This position requires proficiency and knowledge of OOPS, Java, Python, C#, AWS/Azure cloud and RESTful frameworks. You should have experience with agile methodologies, and working experience building scalable backend systems and robust user interfaces.Main ResponsibilitiesParticipate in the complete product development cycle starting from analysis, architecture, design, coding, unit integration, and system testing of softwareUnderstand System Architecture and provide valuable inputs to continuously improveAbility to deliver the agreed modules in time, work with junior team membersEager to learn and adapt to dynamically changing and fast paced environmentDesign, develop, and maintain the software solution based on the high-level product description or requirement documentMake a Software design at the module level that is highly reusable.Follow well-defined Design Patterns and practice SOLID principlesDocument work, software designs, code, and record and produce artifacts/reports.Participate in reviews of work done by peers and provide constructive feedback.Completely accountable for ones own work. Estimate, plan, organize ones own work and manage time efficiently.Responsible for deliveries within the required deadlines.
