The product portfolio will consist of multiple layers in the cloud stack, both built from scratch as open source and built as proprietary extensions to Microsoft\xe2\x80\x99s existing platforms.

• As a developer in the team, you will be responsible for end-to-end lifecycle of features of the product working closely with mentors, Product Managers, Senior engineers, Customers/Partners and leaders.

• Contribute to processes for the architecture of a product/solution feature and help to create proposals for architecture by testing design hypotheses and helping to refine code plans, with technical leadership from others.
• Help to identify other teams and technologies that will be leveraged, how they will interact, and when one\'s system may provide support to others. Support efforts to apply debugging tools and examines logs, telemetry, and other methods to verify assumptions proactively before issues occur and reactively as issues occur for product features.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards are followed.
• Conduct and create experimentation to determine the effectiveness of changes for prototyping and testing features, and applies findings back into development.
• Maintain operations of live service as issues arise on a rotational, on-call basis. Alert stakeholders as to the status and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems. Respond within Service Level Agreement timeframe.
• Contribute to the development of automation within production and deployment of a complex product feature.
• Consider partners across teams and their end goals for products to drive and achieve desirable user experiences and fitting the dynamic needs of partners/customers through product development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s/Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Computer Science or related field. Previous experience with web services, storage, cloud computing, and large scale systems is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience with designing, implementing, debugging and launching commercial software products or web services
• Experience in systems side of software development. Thorough understanding of computer science fundamentals, architecture, memory models, and algorithms design.
• Proven ability to design and create componentized, well-architected software which can scale.
• Be part of the live site culture and drive data driven improvements to both product quality and engineering efficiency
• Excellent knowledge of Java/JavaScript/C#/REST Services/C++
• Top notch, high-energy communication skills, collaboration skills, and drive for results
• Customer obsession, passion for technology & strong analytical skills
