You will be able to use your testing knowledge and creativity to automate test capabilities and design test and maintenance procedures. You\'ll also tap our existing test frameworks to tackle specific problems.Job responsibilities

• Ensure that the applications work as they should and meet customers\' needs.
• Design and create Test cases and automate various Test steps.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of any defects identified
• Performs Acceptance , Integration (end to end) testing with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications
• Automate and execute Performance Testing
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve the value realized by automation
• Create CICD pipeline and work on deployment of the changes.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on Software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
• Proven ability to write automated tests.
• Experience with Test automation tools/ technologies like Selenium, Cucumber , Blazemeter, UDF etc.
• Experience in automation of various Test steps - Contract testing, Acceptance Testing, End to End Testing, performance Testing
• Detailed understanding of common defect and data-management tools
• Advanced knowledge of software lifecycles, including Waterfall and Agile, and test automation strategies
• Proficiency in a business function and some understanding of the broader business context
• Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages, preferably java
• Knowledge of SQL

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Knowledge of Accesibility Testing
• DevOps Experience in creation of CICD pipelines
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
