The engineer will work on consumer services part of Nike app which offer seamless post-purchase support, including order summary, tracking and easy returns. Users can also engage in real-time chat with athletes for personalized advice and inspiration.WHO YOU WILL WORK WITHYou will work with a Work With talented engineers for the technical development and delivery of elegant and intuitive app features across development teams, partnering with business stakeholders, QE teams, and other geo-graphically dispersed engineering teams. You will work with application privacy and security teams to ensure the application is properly architected and maintained.WHAT YOU BRING3 to 5 years software development experience designing, developing, and testing complexMust have: Experience in Mobile App development Experience in Android OS - Android SDK, Java, KotlinMust have hands-on on GitPreferred experience with New RelicHave experience with Cocoapods, MVVMExperience with REST full APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.Experience working in a Distributed/Cloud-based environment (e.g. AWS, GCE, Rackspace, Azure, etc.)Work in full DevOps model leading the entire tech stack including implementing, deploying, monitoring, and operating services at scalePrior experience in designing and implementingExperience with CI/CD across multiple platforms, such as GitHub action, Jenkins, Slack, JiraKnowledge of working with mock servers (SoapUI , Charles)Understanding of dependency injection, jetpack components and code versioning.Understanding of different types of design patternsDeep understanding of multi-threading, memory management, networking, caching, performance benchmarking and optimization, localization, and security for mobile applicationsExperience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, test driven development, static analysis, and automated integration tests.Exposure to cloud message APIs and push notifications.Knowledge of Chatbots and Gen AI is a plus.Working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles.Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environmentExcellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teamsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject area. 2 years additional relevant professional experience accepted in lieu of degree
