Your Title: Software EngineerJob Location: ChennaiOur Department: CCFSAre you a Software Engineer/Developer that wants to be at the heart of analyzing, designing, and programming cutting-edge software enhancements and new products in a collaborative environment?What You Will DoYour expertise will contribute to the development of web applications for construction site management back office software with quality and standards. Using the latest programming languages and technologies, you'll write code, conduct testing, and perform debugging to ensure flawless applications. You will interact with users to define system requirements and necessary modifications.Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programsUsing current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applicationsCompletes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenanceResponsible for the full life cycle software development activities including new product releases, upgrades, functional enhancements, defect resolution, and performance improvementsPartner with QA and Operations to test and deploy changes to a product set up for continuous deploymentBuild scalable and sustainable solutions, utilizing engineering best practices in an agile, team-oriented and collaborative environmentWhat Skills & Experience You Should BringBE/BTech/ME/MTech/M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 1-3 years of professional experience in delivering quality software in a collaborative environmentExperience maintaining a high bar for code quality, testing and automation while finding opportunities to continuously make improvementsAbility to write business and technical specification documents that convey complex analysis and solutions clearly and conciselyKnowledge and experience with interactive/real-time application developmentDemonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex business processes and systemsMaintain a DevOps mindset, promoting cloud-oriented solutions while implementing and supporting monitoring, alerting, CI/CD pipelines as well as the teamxe2x80x99s Cloud infrastructureProfessional experience coding in Java 8/17, Spring with Spring boot.Understanding of Azure, web services, Micro services, HTTP, relational databases(SQL), and MongoKnowledge of UI development with Javascript, CSS, HTML, and React is advantageous.Knowledge of Unit testing using Junit and automated regression/end-to-end testing using Serenity and Cypress.About TrimbleDedicated to the worldxe2x80x99s tomorrow, Trimble is a technology company delivering solutions that enable our customers to work in new ways to measure, build, grow and move goods for a better quality of life.
