The Core AI & Data Platforms Team has been established to create, operate, and run the Enterprise AI, BI & Data platforms that accelerate time to market for reporting, analytics, and data science teams.

The BI Platform aims to foster a culture of innovation, enabling rapid development of BI solutions, and driving transformative outcomes for stakeholders. It serves as a comprehensive ecosystem of collaborative services, tools, and infrastructure, empowering both technical and non-technical users to seamlessly develop, evaluate, and deploy BI reporting solutions tailored to various business use cases and personas. Join us in leading the charge to drive BI tools adoption across the organization. The Software Engineer, BI Platform will take a pivotal role in shaping the future of our data ingestion solutions into Enterprise Data Lake. You will perform data ingestions from various source systems using frameworks on cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our systems.



About the Role:


In this opportunity you will:

• Ingest data using python from multiple data sources into snowflake data lake
• Work on source data analysis and build data pipelines and will document the same.
• Collaborate with multiple teams and business teams starting from business analysts, data architects.
• Be a thought professional, you will contribute to Data Analysis, ELT pipelines, and AWS-based frameworks.
• Participate in communication and liaison with other data management teams embedded across the organization and data consumers in data science and business analytics teams.
• Reporting using tools like Power BI
• Contribute to improving the customer experience.
• Utilize your experience in the following areas:
+ Relational and Non-Relational Databases
+ Semi-structured and Unstructured Data
+ AWS services (S3, EC2, lambda, IAM, VPC, Load Balancer, Glue, RDS)
+ Programming in Python
+ Data Analysis and Data processing technologies
+ Snowflake Database


About You


You're a fit for the role of Software Engineer, BI Platform if you meet all or most of these criteria:

• 3 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering
• 1-2 years' experience with Power BI reporting
• Strong python scripting skills
• Highly proficient in SQL.
• Excellent communication & collaborative skills to work with internal teams
• Experience in working on Relational and Non-Relational Databases like Snowflake.
• Exposure in AWS services (S3, EC2, lambda, IAM, VPC, Load Balancer, Glue, RDS)
• Knowledge of Semi-structured and Unstructured Data
