While basic knowledge of SQL queries is desirableSkills for writing clean, readable and easily maintainable codeProficient understanding of code versioning tools (such as Git)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be willing to travelEnglish \xe2\x80\x93 fluent (both oral and written).Solid understanding of development environments and technology stacksWould be a plus:Software management tools: JIRA.Application servers: IIS.Experience with Windows and Unix / Linux based programmingSoftware architecture & design knowledge and experience: Multi-tiered software, service oriented, high-availability, security, high-performance.Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit testsExperience with Agile SWS Development Methodology and SCRUMExperience working on software projects in the Energy domain (Energy Management, Oil & Gas, Power & Water)Experience in UI/UXBusiness Acumen:Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problemsSkilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating effortsHas the ability to analyze impact of technology choicesAbility to takes ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team membersIdentifies misalignments with goals, objectives, and work direction against the organizational strategy.
