Software Engineer - Adaptors Team - Bangalore

We are looking for a Software Engineer with experience in SAP, Informatica products, OS and network to join our Global Customer Support team. You\'ll use your Experience building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems and for becoming a trusted adviser to our customers on technical issues.

Technology You\'ll Use

  • Informatica product knowledge, SAP application, techniques to troubleshoot complex issues, Diagnostic tools, Operating Systems - Windows, Linux/Unix.
  • As an integral part of the Global Customer Support team, you will provide technical support for Informatica PowerExchange and cloud connectors.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here\'s What You\'ll Do
  • As an part of the Global Customer Support team, you will provide solutions complex technical issues related to our software products via web or calls.
  • Fundamental understanding of Informatica products, SAP application
  • Practical Experience in databases and applications like SAP, Salesforce, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Azure, Databricks.
  • You will work with multiple teams like product specialists, R&d and sales to provide the better service to customers.
  • You will learn multiple operating systems troubleshooting techniques, network tools and analysis of multiple logs.
  • Need to reproduce the complex issue inhouse to find the root causes and provide the accurate solutions to customer.
  • Create online knowledge on known issues and the solutions with the steps followed to resolve the issue.
What We\'d Like to See
  • Must have 2-3 years of experience working with SAP application, ABAP, IDOC and RFC administration, SAP BW
  • Prior experience in Informatica PowerCenter or any ETL tool is desirable.
  • Have the experience in handling customer support cases daily, including verifying cases, isolating, and diagnosing the problem, and resolving the issues.
  • Skill to troubleshoot network and interface issues from SAP perspective.
  • Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analysing pros and cons of different solutions.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues with users both written and verbal.
  • Be a subject matter expert and resource for others on assigned ETL processes.
  • Knowledge on databases and its management
Role Essentials
  • Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience working with SAP application, ABAP, IDOC and RFC administration, SAP BW
  • Informatica powercenter and IICS experience.
  • Experience in multiple operating systems such as Windows, UNIX/Linux and Knowledge of database design and entity relations
