Summary In this role, you will be responsible for providing build and release activities for highly complex as well as parallel and concurrent releases for a Software Product. Manage Continuous Code Integration within SDLC. Works independently and is seen as a Technical Leader. The role demonstrates deep understanding of concurrent software development, its effect on build management and releasing the builds across versions and environments. Roles and Responsibilities In this role, you will: Support and improve tools for continuous build, automated testing and release management Make technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact Understand the build process and identifies bottleneck areas for improvement Demonstrate expertise in writing scripts to automate tasks. Implements Continuous Integration/Deployment build principles Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project Be expert at applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques. Be able to document procedures for building and deploying. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques Qualifications/Requirements A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software development with a Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or in \'STEM\' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Expertise (3+ years) on Scripting/Programming with Python. Subject matter expert on AWS services and Tools (AWS certification recommended) Expertise (4+ years) with CI/CD,Jenkins, Git, versioning and branching Experience (3+ years) with Infrastructure as code - Ansible, CloudFormation and Terraform Experience (3+ years) on Containers - Kubernetes , Docker. Knowledge on data stores such as PostgresQL and MySQL Able to assess code, build it, and run applications locally on his/her own Experience (4+ years) with creating and maintaining automated build tools Ability to understand requirements, break down tasks, provide estimation and alternative approaches to team sizing and estimation.
