:Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.As a Software Engineer in Product Engineering Software (PES), you will dive into developing our premiere NX CAD software. You may work on business critical projects in quality assurance, business analytics, prototypes for new releases, automated tests, test results analysis, etc. You will have the opportunity to partner with senior engineers and push the limits on our project teams. Projects will focus on two main disciplines:Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
• 8-12 years of experience in software development.
• The position requires 5 years of experience in C++. Good understanding of data structures and algorithm complexities. Prior experience in Siemens CAD development is bonus
• Software Testing frameworks \xe2\x80\x93 Unit, Integration and Automation tests;
• Software design patterns and system design.
• Creating software verification and validation plans;
• Root cause analysis and resolutions of customer feedbacks/concerns;
• Ability to Lead a team.
• Good analytical skills, problem solving skills and good communication skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Highly self-motivated with an eagerness to learn and take initiatives and follow software development methods, lifecycle and methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery.
• Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism.
• Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas.
• Technical lead of one or more projects within one area of a product. Provides input to the technical direction for one area of a product.
• Occasional consults with customers in regard to future upgrades and products. Able to solve complex technical problems.
• Provides specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas.
• Highly skilled with extensive proficiency and technical expertise.
