About the Role:

The Team:
Content Development Program (CDP) provides high-quality entity, ownership, and compliance data across a wide range of equity and fixed income asset classes. Our data enables financial institutions to make informed decisions around investor relation, trading, valuations, and risk management.
CDP enables efficient collaboration between Issuers, Banks, and Investors by streamlining operations and enhance performance with data-driven portfolio monitoring, investor reporting, investment insights, compliance, valuations, for our Global Clients.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Oversee 2-3 teams, each led by a team lead, comprising a total of 10-15 data engineers with varying levels of experience.
Work with teams to identify and resolve technical or operational challenges, ensuring seamless project execution and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Drive team performance to excellence in execution with high employee engagement and satisfaction, balancing short-term business needs with long-term training and career development paths.
Design complex data solutions, incorporating new data sources and ensuring consistency across projects aligned with data strategies.
Drive and contribute to the design, planning, and development of solutions based on business requirements using a diverse range of cloud-native technologies.
Foster collaborative discussions to find solutions with team members.
Exhibit excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills to tackle complex problems, even if not yet well-defined.
Maintain flexibility to learn and enhance programming language skills, continuously improving and finding better ways to do things.
Adapt to changes and respond flexibly.
Work closely with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to drive business value.
Contribute insights and suggestions as part of our continuous improvement efforts.
Pitch in wherever needed to ensure a high-quality release is delivered on time.
Think practically and independently, making the best decisions based on the circumstances and available facts.
Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical personnel.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging professional growth and continuous learning among team members.
What We're Looking For:
5+ years of experience with managing the team
8 + years of development experience in database technologies
4 + years of deep experience in Python
5 + years of experience in processing Big Data using any AWS Cloud Native technology.
5 + years of experience with relational databases such as SQL Server/Snowflake.
Must possess strong oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to come to the office twice a week
Additional Preferred Skills
Familiarity with ML model building and training.
Familiarity with Linux.
