:The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic manager to lead and grow our software team in Bangalore. The team's initial focus will be on the development and execution of quality assurance tests for our SDKs and embedded software, targeting a variety of markets including IoT, medical, automotive, and industrial. You will work closely with product development teams and applications engineers on product improvements, with project managers to assign resources across projects and with product marketers to understand verification/validation requirements. • Lead a team of up to 10 high-performing developers and testers, fostering engagement through coaching and mentoring
• Ensure timely delivery of verification & validation test plans, automated tests, manual tests, test reports and test metrics
• Ensure robust quality assurance practices and processes are followed throughout the team
• Manage assignment of resources to projects across multiple product lines
• Participate in regular reviews of customer support issues
• Work with other development team managers to ensure project needs are met and promote interdisciplinary collaboration
• Develop and champion strategies that enable the adoption of verification best practices and methods
• Instill an inclusive team culture and grow the team while maintaining world-class excellence and diversity

#LI-RG1Qualifications:

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline
• 10+ years in software development and/or software quality assurance, including experience in people leadership, team building and hiring top talent
• Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering robust software solutions to market
• Experience with best-in-class software development methodologies including Agile Software Development and Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD)

Experience with:

• C, C++, Python, PyTest, PyUnit, Behave, Jenkins, GIT, Docker
• Embedded software Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) like VS Code, Eclipse, Keil or IAR.
• Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, written, and presentation)
• Ability to establish strong relationships with your team and other leaders across the organization.
• Experience developing embedded software to quality-driven standards such as IEC 62304, ISO 26262, ASPICE, etc
