Overview We\'re looking for a creative, talented Software Development Test Engineer to join our fast-growing Software Engineering group. Working on an Agile development team, you will be responsible for automating QA, and supporting our class-leading suite of Financial Software Products servicing the office of the CFO. Responsibilities Design and code automated tests (functional, integration and regression), report metrics and defects. Work with developers to design and implement test and validation strategies Take ownership of quality through to delivery of fully automated tests Participate in design and code reviews, creates test cases from design / user stories. Provides technical support to project team members Dev Ops - Study and setup CI and CT environments, work with open source tools to install, monitor, maintain these systems. Operate in an agile development team and participate in the design, development, testing, and debugging of applications. Qualifications Qualification and Experience BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline. 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience. Proficient in .NET C#, .NET Core, SQL High proficiency in writing automated tests using NUnit testing framework. Strong experience with modern application development workflows and version control systems like GitHub, Gitlab, or Bitbucket. Familiarity with supporting databases and automating applications based on enterprise database. Knowledge of Specflow, Robot framework is added advantage. Hands on working with SQL, PL/SQL, Python for structured and non-structured data, and SQL & ORM Query optimization and tuning. Must be able to identify DB tables/schemas by indexing, keys, costing, etc. Exposure to various web technologies such as gRPC, SOAP, REST, and OData. Experience in SCRUM or other agile development processes. DevOps mindset with proven ability to architect and optimize an agile CI/CD pipeline including continuous testing.
