About the role: The Engineering team designs, builds, deploys, and supports enterprise grade software and data infrastructure to collect and analyze medical device machine data from systems deployed world-wide. The ideal candidate will have experience in Software Development, Software Testing and Devops. The position requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively and collaboratively with technical peers, and the ability to manage workload among changing priorities, alternating between hands on software development and automation. Responsibilities: o Ownership of QA Infrastructure that includes VMs (AWS, on-Prem), Desktops (Windows Linux), Jenkins, Docker containers. o Ownership and continued enhancement of existing Load tests scripts (Python & JMeter) and execution. o Troubleshoot any issues post code deployment on VMs/Desktops that run after Jenkins/Gitlab triggers. o Work with Tech Ops & Network ops to procure/update existing machines and network settings. o Create and maintain Docker containers and local maven repositories as required. Skills Required: o Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. o Excellent development background using Python and Java. o Experience in developing docker containers. o Experience in running load tests using JMeter. o Experience in upgrading, maintain operating systems (Windows and Linux). o Experience in developing Testing infrastructure from scratch (procure, build, install, configure and maintain test infrastructure. o Hands-on experience in Continuous Integration Testing Jenkins and GitLab. Should know end-to-end pipeline execution and creation. o Troubleshooting mindset, an ability to break a system or process systematically and effectively into subparts to identify failure modes. o Hands-on experience with Jira and plugins installation. o Excellent communication skills and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills. o Knowledge in Testing process and documentation (Test cases, scripts, RTM/defect reports). o Proven ability to develop, present and justify positions to all levels of the organization. o Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills. o Quick learner who can think out of the box.
