DESCRIPTIONThe Amazon DSP (Demand Side Platform) Creatives team is looking for Software Development Engineers to help us define and build seamless customer experiences and high performance applications for our next generation ad programs. You'll play a critical role in the design and implementation of a strategic product for advertisers to manage their ad creatives and campaign landing pages.Amazon Advertising operates at the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, offering a rich array of advertising solutions with the goal of helping our customers find and discover anything they want to buy. We help advertisers reach customers on Amazon owned and operated sites. We start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising. • Collaborating closely with UX designers, product managers, and partner teams to ensure seamless integration of ad formats into customer experiences
• Designing and executing A/B tests and experimentation, analyzing results using engagement metrics and business metrics to inform data-driven decisions
• Crafting innovative and engaging ad experiences
• Building low-latency, high-throughput rendering service components that meet our business needs
• Monitoring operational dashboards and metrics to ensure systems are running smoothly and efficiently
• Participating in code reviews, reviewing peers' code, and providing constructive feedback to improve overall code quality
• Attending and hosting design reviews, providing feedback to peers and collaborating on design decisions
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them grow

A day in the life
As a Software Development Engineer on this team, you will create software designs and implementation for medium-to-large scale projects across all areas of this new automotive shopping initiative. You will work directly with creative, product management and program management to understand and define requirements and apply your technical expertise to solve difficult software problems in a fast-paced environment. You'll design and build software and systems for novel customer experiences, AWS services, and large-scale back-end web services, all with the goal of delivering a seamless experience to the customer.About the teamAbout the team

- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
