Job Title SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER 3

- Has working experience and advanced and specialized technical/functional knowledge in own discipline. Understands how own area contributes to the business. Acts as a reference for colleagues with less experience and supports junior team members.\xe2\x80\x8b

- Influences decisions related to own activity, anticipating dependencies and consequences in complex scenarios, contributes to transversal projects, proposes improvements to processes and is accountable for own and team commitments.\xe2\x80\x8b

- Works independently within plan dictated by manager, with some guidance on most complex situations.

Specific accountabilities:

\xe2\x97\x8f Analyze specifications
_ Define user requirements for the development of new (or upgrade of existing) software solutions.

\xe2\x97\x8f Design systems and code
_ Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
_ Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
_ Develop software according to Amadeus standards.
_ Model, design and implement databases.

\xe2\x97\x8f Test and maintain the software
_ Conduct unit, package and performance tests and ensure a level of quality in line with the Amadeus guidelines.
_ Participate in the validation phase of the product cycle, fine-tuning when necessary to finalize the product.
_ Support the customer by debugging existing solutions in collaboration with Product Manager or Product Definition Analyst

_ Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.

Technical Skills

_ Professional software development experience on advance C++, Java, J2EE, Python, JSON, SQL and Shell Scripting

_ Professional software development experience in web technologies (Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS etc)

_ Must have worked on Standard Template Library and Unix/Linux, Knowledge of Shell Scripting is a plus

_ Model, design and implement databases (RDBMS) like Oracle, PL/SQL experience is a plus

_ Exposure to CI/CD Tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven etc
_ Design-patterns and software architecture

_ Experience on UI/UX design and development/Web development is a plus.

_ Other: Agile framework, Teamwork, collaboration, Communication, problem solving.

Required Qualifications

• Must possess a university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of software development experience in the Technology industry.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing software using OOP concepts.
• Experience in developing applications using C++, advance C++, JSON and SQL etc.
• Comfortable in working in an Agile environment that promotes active communication, feedback, and flexibility.
• Comfortable in working directly with colleagues, stakeholders and customers from different cultures.
• Capable of learning new things and quickly become proficient as technology and the team\xe2\x80\x99s priorities change.
• Strong analytical skills. Proven ability to analyze and solve problems and issues effectively and quickly.
• Team player and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.
• Worked on finding Memory leaks and fixing them.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience with implementing cloud deployed solutions (Azure preferred)
