The Director of Architecture is a responsible for leading a team of architects responsible for the architectural integrity, performance, and scalability of Oracle Financial Solutions Software.



The ideal candidate will be technically strong, excellent in people management, and possess business acumen. You understand how to balance business needs with solid architecture. You understand solution excellence and know-how to infuse a culture of accountability and ownership within your team. Industry experience is desired.


Required Skills and Experience


• Strong communication and presentation skills - both executive level and technical level.
• 10+ years of experience designing/building/supporting enterprise cloud software.
• Deep knowledge of cloud service providers such as AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience with high performance transaction data systems.
• 5+ years of experience with high performance data analytics.
• Experience with data streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with highly scalable systems.
• Experience with Cloud Native technologies including Kubernetes and Containers.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, and Android development.
• Knowledge of Java, .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• Strong data modeling skills.
• Knowledge of SQL (Oracle a plus).
• Knowledge of UX design methodologies and best practices.

• Direct team of enterprise architects responsible for multiple products in Oracle Banking Cloud Services.
• Oversee architectural decisions for existing product portfolio.
• Drive next generation architecture.
• Drive migration path for existing customers to next generation.
• Maintain architectural artifacts.
• Oversee architectural governance.
• Executive presentations (internal and external).
