Software Developer IoT Edge (f/m/d)

Your tasks

You work with battery-operated sensors that send measurement data to higher-level control systems (gateways, cloud) via radio protocols

You are responsible for the interface between the sensors and IoT gateways to cloud applications (Microsoft Azure)

From design and implementation to integration and productive operation, you will accompany our solutions over their entire life cycle

You actively contribute your experience in architecture and design issues relating to our solutions

Development of continuous integration and continuous deployment concepts and their consistent implementation

Our expectations

University degree in computer science or a comparable degree with skills and experience as a software developer in the field of IoT Edge

Practical experience in the integration of IoT data points in cloud systems (Microsoft Azure)

Experience in IT security and building robust operating systems

Knowledge of Microsoft IoT Edge concept and embedded programming to coordinate with the embedded software engineers

Experience with radio protocols such as OpenThread, Wireless Hart or Bluetooth

Processing of complex concepts with the departments as well as with internal IT colleagues

Enthusiasm for new technologies, solution-oriented mindset and openness

English
