Job Description

• Software developers create, design, and maintain software for computers, mobile devices, and websites. Their responsibilities include: Analyzing user needs: Gathering and analyzing user requirements and specifications Designing software: Designing the architecture and components of the software, and creating models and diagrams to show programmers the code Writing code: Writing clean, testable code in programming languages like Java, Python, or C# Testing and debugging: Testing the software to identify and resolve issues Integrating software: Integrating new software with existing systems, databases, and applications Maintaining software: Maintaining and upgrading software by adding new features Documenting software: Creating documentation for all developed programs Researching new technologies: Researching and implementing new technologies and industry best practices Providing technical guidance: Providing technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members Software developers work closely with other staff, such as project managers, graphic artists, UX designers, and other developers. They also collaborate with customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications. Software developers have a more focused scope than software engineers, who focus on high-level system design, architecture, and engineering concepts.

Pay: ?269,371.67 - ?1,216,475.80 per year
