Your opportunity Title: Software Developer (Revit). Digital Practice team - RNet Pune


Stantec's Digital Practice Team in India is a fast-growing team. For the last two decades, this IT team is providing a variety of software automation, customization, business continuity solutions, and services for our global clients. The Digital Practice experts conduct research and development to keep our global teams and projects ahead of the technological curve. We work on emerging technology solutions for a variety of business sectors. Our goal is to be an accelerator of growth for Stantec and add value to our clients and communities with niche and advance technology solutions.


The Digital Practice Team in India works with several regions US, UK, CANADA, and ANZ, to name a few, and builds Digital Solutions and I.P. The team supports our multi-disciplinary engineering Design Deliverables with Engineering Software customization and automation services. You will work with Product Owners, Scrum Masters and develop applications used directly by our clients. This team has developed a series of productivity tools and migrating those to newer emerging technologies.


The Digital Practice team works closely with our Design Delivery Leaders, Business Leaders, and clients to develop solutions to provide high quality & on-time deliverables. You will also have an opportunity to have many careers in one Firm.

Your Key Responsibilities


• Lead and coach multiple cross-functional Scrum/Kanban teams.
• Execute the entire SDLC, from requirements analysis to deployment. design, develop, test, and maintain BIM-related software.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Create custom tools and applications that integrate engineering and architectural concepts with software development skills. They often work with languages like .NET, or C++ and Python.
• Verify software functionality, conduct testing, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate BIM models from various disciplines (e.g., architecture, structure) to ensure seamless collaboration among project stakeholders.
• Establish and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and workflows within their organization.
• Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies, train personnel, and drive innovation in BIM processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering or Architecture with more then 3-5 years of experience in BIM.
• Certifications: Nice to have- Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) in Revit for Architectural Design.
• Certification in BIM software
• Professional Experience:BIM Modeling: Practical experience in BIM modeling, including creating and managing BIM models.Coordination and Collaboration: Ability to coordinate BIM models across different disciplines (e.g., architecture, structure) for seamless collaboration.
• Project Management: Understanding project standards, settings, and workflows.
• Experience with agile project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of software development practices and familiarity with various development methodologies.
• Willing to work in flexible hours to co-ordinate with our regional counterparts mainly from CANADA, US, UK, ANZ
