With offices around the globe, we emphasize true, global collaboration by aligning our investment, technology and operations teams functionally around the world.Role Overview:kdb+/q developers at Squarepoint work closely with researchers and traders to design, implement, test and maintain our service-oriented kdb+ architecture. As a kdb+/q developer, you will contribute to designing our model of reality, normalizing diverse datasets to generate it. You will also build robust, scalable infrastructure to expose data to users worldwide.You will have a high degree of responsibility, owning key parts of the infrastructure and acting as level 2+ support for critical services during live trading.Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in a STEM subject
• Up to 4 years experience in a relevant role using kdb+/q
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to continuously learn new technologies and develop with us
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

• Experience designing, testing, optimizing and troubleshooting data intensive applications
• Experience analyzing and organizing financial data
• Experience with any of Python, C++, or Rust
• Experience with other database management systems and related technologies such as SQL
