Oracle Cloud Observability and Management (O&M) services give visibility and actionable insights that help customers manage their cloud and on-premise environments. It lets customer monitor, audit, and alert to changes in their environment. Insights driven by machine learning helps them manage software that are deployed on a variety of technology across all layers of the stack. It provides integrated functionality and automation for DevOps monitoring and IT operations management to prevent and solve IT problems.


The Stack Monitoring team in O&M works on providing an enterprise-wide view of the of the stack running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The team provides discovery, monitoring and remediation service for cloud-scale applications, bringing together data from servers, databases, tools, and services to present a unified view of an entire stack. It provides next-generation integrated monitoring, management, and analytics solutions for IT organizations. It enables organization to gain an end-to-end view of applications from end-users to the underlying infrastructure, to effectively manage diverse IT environments and drive DevOps efforts.


About Position:
The candidate we are looking for is a senior developer who will play a key role in the Stack Monitoring team. The candidate must have strong programming experience in Java, JS, SQL and AI technologies. As a team member, you will also collaborate with senior engineers to develop AI models and solutions that drive innovation in content generation, automation, and problem-solving.


The candidate will:


design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, storage, networks etc. within Stack Monitoring. leverage ML / GenAI to enhance observability, automate anomaly detection, automate root cause analysis, implement intelligent noise reduction, and optimize performance in the field of cloud monitoring. collaborate with engineering teams across the globe to understand the product functionalities and use cases. work closely with product architect, peer group as well as members of different development organizations.
Responsibilities:
Leading contributor and a team player. Drive the end-to-end execution of complex AI-driven programs, collaborating across engineering, product, research, and cloud infrastructure teams. Contribute to the analysis of functional requirements and participate in engineering initiatives. Adopt and promote solid software development and test-driven practices with your peer. Writing, reviewing and promoting quality, clean and readable code.
Education and Experience Requirements:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 4+ years of experience as a software developer. Extensive experience in Java technologies, SQL, JS, Linux and scripting. Strong understanding of AI & ML concepts, especially generative AI and/or agentic AI. Ability and willingness to learn quickly in a dynamic environment. * Good communication skills and ability to participate in technical discussions and communicate clearly.
