• Strong hands-on experience with databases and data warehousing concepts, including partitioning and indexing strategies.

• Experience with Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex issues and suggest innovative solutions.

• Knowledge of Apache Spark is a plus.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.


Key Responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into SQL/PLSQL and perform data transformations.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Implement and manage ELT and ETL processes, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Utilize Python for data manipulation and automation tasks.
• Design and develop complex data models to support business objectives.
• Create integration pipelines to ingest data from various sources.
• Work with cloud data tools including Azure, Snowflake, Oracle Data Integration, Goldengate, and Autonomous Data Warehouse.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases and servers, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Analyse performance issues and resolve live problems related to data flow and process execution.
• Collaborate with team members to assess multiple solutions and deliver high-quality software that meets industry standards.
• Maintain an understanding of PowerBi and the reporting framework within large organizations, recognizing its importance in data-driven decision-making.
