Position: Software Developer (Laravel & PHP)
Reports To: Project Manager/Technical Lead

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Software Developer with expertise in Laravel and PHP. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of PHP's advanced functionalities and be proficient with tools and frameworks that enhance development efficiency. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications while collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Laravel and PHP.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Implement advanced PHP functionalities and integrate third-party tools or APIs as required.
• Requirement Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand project requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
• Database Management:
• Design and optimize relational databases (MySQL or equivalent).
• Implement efficient database queries and ensure data integrity.
• Testing and Debugging:
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications.
• Ensure applications are bug-free and meet quality standards before deployment.
• Performance Optimization:
• Optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times and scalability.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the code or infrastructure.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA, and project managers.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, APIs, and processes.
• Provide technical support and training to team members when necessary.
• Continuous Learning:
• Stay updated with the latest PHP and Laravel advancements.
• Explore and implement modern tools and technologies to improve development efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience:
• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP and Laravel development.
• Strong portfolio of web applications showcasing expertise in Laravel and PHP.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in advanced PHP functionalities and features.
• In-depth knowledge of Laravel framework, including Eloquent ORM, Blade templates, and Artisan commands.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as Vue.js or React (preferred).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of MVC architecture and OOP principles.
• Familiarity with tools like Composer, PHPUnit, and Docker (preferred).
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
