Position: Lead - EngineeringLocation: Gurugram HOThe Opportunity:Eggs are naturexe2x80x99s perfect nutrition and can solve for Indiaxe2x80x99s nutrition problem. However, out of 40 Crore eggs consumed daily in India, more than 97% are sold in loose and unpackaged format. Indian egg industry is largely unorganized at the backend as well as the frontend. A typical egg in India takes 8-10 days to reach a retail counter by the time it is not fresh and has lost nutrition values (by more than 50% as per research). With non-fresh eggs, there is a funny egg smell and runny texture of yolk and albumen, which is very common with Indian eggs. Farmers make thin margins and are dependent on unorganized trader and wholesalers. Due to low incomes and lack of knowledge, there is heavy usage of anti-biotics and chemicals in poultry feed that causes long-term health issues.The Company: Eggoz - Nupa Technologies Pvt Ltd.Founded in 2017, Eggoz is a Series B funded growth-stage egg brand and Agritech start up, funded by NabVentures, Avaana Capital, Rebright Partners and Others. It aims to deliver superior nutrition with sustainable farming, aim at better income for farmers and strive for 24-hour freshness chicken to platexe2x80x99, thereby wholistically attempting to solve the current challenges in the industry.The business model is asset-light and tech-first where farmers are onboarded to an integrated platform, which includes poultry feed & nutrition integration using only herbal ingredients, and bird management technology to improve farmer income.Eggoz is leading and fastest growing brand of eggs. Its products are available in omni-channel retail in 5 major metro cities and nearby non-metro towns. In the next phase, Eggoz aspires to become a household brand. It is looking to scale the brand and platform to rest of the country and build the largest national brand of eggs. It. It aims to build excitement around eggs and build the entire category of eggs and egg-based products.The Role: We're looking for a driven Skilled Lead xe2x80x93 Engineering who cares deeply about their craft. You have strong problem solving, analytic, decision-making and excellent communication with interpersonal skills. You are self-driven and motivated with the desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with varied responsibilities.Responsibilities:1. Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end. 2. Ensure and constantly improve reliability, scalability, security and performance ofcore apis and infrastructure. 3. Be proactive in technical decision making and a sound influence in technicaldiscussions. 4. Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution ofmultiple business plans and technologies. 5. Adopt and advocate best practices and guidelines in architecture, code conventions,development practice. 6. Improve, optimize and identify opportunities for efficient software developmentprocesses. 7. Keep abreast of the changes in the industry and champion new technologies anddevelopment processes within the team.Requirements:1. 5+ years of professional experience building web services in Python, preferably in DjangoFramework and React JS with excellent debugging, good exposure to MySQL and analyticalskills.2. 5+ years of strong experience in Python(Django), JavaScript with Experience with Kafka,MySQL, MongoDB, Bootstrap, ReactJS, AWS EC2, S3, EKS, ECR.3. Graduation/Post Graduation degree in Computer Science (IITs, IIITs and NITs preferred).4. Experience in developing web applications, RESTful APIs using Python(DjangoRestframework). Proven experience in building, deploying and maintaining highly scalableRESTful web services5. Decent knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with shipping code quickly and reliably.Understanding of DevOps processes and Tools (Jenkins, Redis, Celery).6. Good communication and articulation skills.7. Experience working with agile teams and making rapid decisions in a dynamic and disruptiveenvironment.8. Hands on writing and reviewing code9. Exceptional design and architectural skills.10. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, computer science fundamentalsdata structures, algorithms and operating systems11. Excellent written and oral communication ability in both technical and non tech aspects12. Good understanding of benchmarking and performance monitoring - concurrency, multi-threading, logging, database optimisations13.
