:Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs. Responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations.Developer Services Operations function enables productivity of teams across OHAI by driving production grade availability of the tools and services used for planning, building, testing and deployment activities of our products and solutions. The team is responsible for ensuring availability, configuration, changes and security for all planning and engineering tools used throughout OHAI, some of which are consumed by over 6000 users. Product Engineering, product management and regression teams rely on us to manage all operational needs of development pipelines, including managing the end-to-end CI/CD process, from compile to successful package deployment to running environments, for Millennium and other solutions.Career Level - IC1Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations. Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs Responsible for Oracle production environments; assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching; and work on standardization projects for both hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack while providing consistent system uptime as expected in a Cloud environment. Provide on-call support, on a rotating basis.
Key Responsibilities:-Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
-Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
-Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
-Setting up tools and required infrastructure
-Incidence management and root cause analysis
-Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL
-Automation using Scripting Languages: Automate CI-CD pipeline processes using different scripting languages (Power shell, Python)
-Perform troubleshooting investigations reviewing front-end applications by gathering information, using troubleshooting tools, shadowing end users, and testing workflows internally and externally. -Perform troubleshooting investigations via backend methods by capturing log files, querying tables, updating database fields, and updating/cycling servers.
-Perform root cause analysis to identify the reasons for the underlying issue
-Plan and execute strategies and configuration changes to ensure optimal quality assurance for all applications
-Monitor all alerts related to applications and provide proactive services
-Maintain positive working relationships with other team members, including engineers and customer support technicians
-Debug any server issues that impact application performance
