Responsibilities:
Your Role and Responsibilities:

• As a Software Consultant, you will design, build, test and deploy effective testing solutions which reduce the amount of manual effort in the testing process.
• You are responsible for applying automated tools to support the testing of applications across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• You need to support the test team by recommending tools and processes to automate other test activities, such as test management, reporting, test data generation and defect management.

• Analyze users? stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Design and develop automation scripts
• Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies
• Work closely with the Product Owner/QA Manager/Development leads to understand release scope and define adequate testing coverage
• Analyze and test software to ensure that products are fit for purpose and are within total quality management limits and standards
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments

Educational Qualifications:

• B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or equivalent Engineeering degree
• 5-7 years of experience
• Should have 3+ years of working knowledge in software testing and automation scripting.

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of the Automation Test Frameworks
• Expertise in Python, VB Script, or Java Script
• Ability to use test automation tools like Selenium, Test Complete, and UFT
• Knowledge in automation testing in a DevOps continuous Integration environment (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins)
• Experience with agile development methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle
• Knowledge of SQL/Oracle relational databases and a basic understanding of sequential queries
• Preferred but not required: Knowledge of Schematics Products
• Good Communication Skills
