Compliance preparation, Licensing understanding, ServiceNow, Software compliance, ELP , BMC,IBM, PowerShell, C# for Senior Analyst - IT Compliance (Software Compliance & Forensics)Primary Skillset: Software Asset management / Compliance / ITSMLevel: SA (Team Lead - IT Infra)Domain Experience : 3-5 years in SAM & ComplianceTotal Experience: 7+ yearsFull time/Part time : Full-TimeQualification :Degree in computer science/mathematics/accounts/Electronics/Telecommunication with 7+ years ofwork experience in IT/ITES.Requirement :We are seeking an experienced SAM professional with ServiceNow SAMPro background andknowledge in major SAM tools like BMC, IBM Tivoli, Flexera, IT Asset Management software from HP / CA etc.,with administrative and operational expertise. The candidate must have experience in softwaregovernance,tool implementations, license compliance reporting and handling internal / external SAM relatedaudits.Candidate should have experience on reviewing global software license agreements and have end toend licensing knowledge of products belonging to Tier 1 publishers such as Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM,Autodesk, VMware, etc.Hands-on experience on software monitoring and reporting in a global role, through with a goodunderstanding of SAM lifecycle processes and procedures to support SAM compliance, would be an addedadvantage.The candidate would be required to coordinate with various stakeholders to manage and monitorSAM related activities on a continuous basis.Required Expertise:Hands on experience working on SAM tools (e.g.: ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow software, BMC, Aspera, etc.)Software Normalization and identification of software usage metrics post discoveryLicensing understanding and calculation methodologies and approaches for top publishersOn-boarding of license entitlements on ServiceNow SAM ProReporting and dashboarding on ServiceNow SAM Pro and creating management reports.CI Automated Discovery ExperiencePreparing Software publisher ELP.Evaluating accuracy of license calculations in a virtualized environment.Contract and entitlement analysis for software publishers like Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, Autodesk,VMware etc.Experience with license and cost optimization to reduce costsKnowledge in wide range of software to leverage alternative software for optimization.Knowledge in PowerShell / C# scripting.Knowledge in measuring software usage / licensing in non-windows environmentHandling of internal / external software compliance auditsExperienced in the use of SLAs/KPIs to track trends and identify problems before they occurGood understanding of Service Asset FinancialsSpecial SkillsetsStrong written and oral communication with relationship building skillsExcellent organizational skills with attention to detailShould be able to handle work pressures and display harmony with team membersFlexible and willing to work in shifts with passion to learn and complete assigned tasksHands on experience with MS SQL, Excel and PowerPointPreferred Certifications and trainingsServiceNow SAM Pro module - Certified Implementation SpecialistServiceNow: Software Asset Management FundamentalsServiceNow Certified System AdministratorSoftware Asset Management certification from any reputed institution / certification body.ITIL Foundation.
