For commercial products, it also includes commercialization, go-to-market planning, sales, and other key business support activities.Translating the vision, you set the tone, and inspire others to follow. for Director:Experience - 20+ yearsAs a Director, your primary responsibility will be to drive the success of a project/product or product line by effectively managing the team and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with stakeholders, including customers, development teams, and other business units, to define and prioritize requirements and ensure the delivery of a high-quality product.Key Responsibilities:Project/Product vision and strategy: Define and communicate the product/project vision and strategy based on market research, customer insights, and business goals. Align the roadmap with the overall business objectives. Product/project management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements. Create and maintain a well-defined product/project backlog with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities. Continuously refine and reprioritize the backlog based on customer feedback, market trends, and business value. Embrace agile methodologies and practices to drive iterative and incremental development. Work closely with the development team to ensure a clear understanding of the product requirements and provide guidance throughout the development process. Stakeholder collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, development teams, and other business units, to gather feedback, validate requirements, and ensure alignment. Act as the primary point of contact for product-related questions and clarifications. Oversees budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control. Conduct regular product/project demonstrations to stakeholders, including customers and business units, to gather feedback and validate the product's alignment with their needs. Incorporate feedback into the product/project backlog and prioritize accordingly. Product/Project launch and go-to-market: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and plans. Product/Project performance analysis: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including usage data, customer feedback, and market trends. Use data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and drive optimization.Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Director/Product Owner or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and product development processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with project/product management tools and techniques, such as user story mapping, backlog grooming, and sprint planning.
  • Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align product strategy with business goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. MBA or other advanced degrees are a plus.
