Job Summary
As a Software Analyst you will work in BSS/OSS products within Ericsson.
You will be responsible for performing technical impact analysis and studies, creating detailed requirements and inputs for design and development teams. You may need to perform requirement study and analysis, prepare system sketches, driving architecture evolution and improvements in different product areas.
Development is done according to Agile principles in multi-functional self-organized teams with typically 5-7 Developers. The cornerstones in our development include a very high level of test automation, continuous integration & daily deliveries in a DevOps approach.
Purpose
For this role, you are expected to be a part of the development team responsible for EDA ADP Integration, whose main scope is to integrate generic microservices provided by ADP into EDA. EDA uses range of microservices maintained and packaged by ADP. Focus is on integration, troubleshooting, configuration, verification and maintenance of ADP microservice with EDA & PF.
Responsibility
• Maintaining latest versions of ADP components in EDA/PF
• SPOC Towards development teams on ADP components
• Owner of CI ADP Generic Services Staging
• Owner of Activation Base OS, common docker Base OS layer used by all EDA/PF services
• Deprecation handling on ADP components, analysis, integration, verification
• Maintain Continuous Integration status for ADP components
• Handling quality assurance regarding ADP components, tickets, feedback. Ensuring EDA/PF quality standards are met. We are end-users delivering to customer.
• Upgrade and installation of Kubernetes API features, CRDs in CI environment.
• Provide CPI documentation updates
Experience
4-to-8 years of relevant experience
Essentials Competencies Required;
• Kubernetes API, Helm, Docker
• Linux
• Programing experience with Functional and Object-oriented languages,
• Strong communication skills,
• Troubleshooting of Cloud Software Systems
• Integration and LCM (deployment/upgrade/rollback/configuration) of cloud native microservices
• Functional and non-functional verification of cloud native microservices
• Cassandra, Prometheus, OpenSearch, Kafka,
Merit skills:
• OpenStack
• Python, Bash, Go
• Jenkins, Spinnaker
• Scala, Java
• ConfD, Postgres, Logstash, Fluentbit, ETCD, Vault, Istio, Zookeeper, Envoy, Contour,
Domain skills
• OSS/BSS and its development.
Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirements
• B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering)/B Tech. (Bachelor of Technologies)/M Tech preferably in Computer Science or Electronics or Masters in Computer Application (MCA)
• Reading/Writing/Listening proficiency in English Language
• Hands on Experience in Java Technologies
• Excellence in Software Design, Architecture principles and Software development Life Cycle
