The Soft Skills Faculty is responsible for designing and delivering engaging training sessions that develop learners' interpersonal, communication, and professional skills. The role involves mentoring students or professionals, assessing their development, and ensuring they are well-prepared for workplace challenges.
Key Responsibilities :
• Training Delivery :
• Conduct workshops, seminars, and classroom sessions on topics like communication, teamwork, time management, leadership, conflict resolution, and presentation skills.
• Use interactive methodologies such as role-playing, group discussions, and case studies.
• Content Development :
• Design and develop training materials, including modules, presentations, and handouts tailored to audience needs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in soft skills training and incorporate them into sessions.
• Assessment and Evaluation :
• Assess participants' existing skill levels and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop evaluation tools like quizzes, role-play scenarios, and surveys to measure training effectiveness.
• Mentoring and Coaching :
• Provide one-on-one coaching for individuals to improve specific soft skills.
• Offer guidance on career development and workplace etiquette.
• Coordination :
• Collaborate with other faculties or departments to align soft skills training with technical or domain-specific learning objectives.
• Organize and manage training schedules effectively.
• Reporting :
• Maintain records of training sessions, participant feedback, and progress.
• Prepare detailed reports on the effectiveness of training programs.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
• Educational Background :
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communication, Psychology, Education). A Master's degree or certification in training is a plus.
• Professional Skills :
• Strong knowledge of interpersonal communication, leadership principles, and other soft skills domains.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and training methodologies.
• Personal Attributes :
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to inspire confidence in learners.
• Experience :
• 2-5 years of experience in training or teaching, preferably in soft skills or professional development.
• Experience in corporate training or educational institutions is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Certification in soft skills training, instructional design, or related areas.
• Experience with e-learning tools and online training platforms.
