Overview:
As a Soft Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for facilitating workshops and training sessions aimed at developing essential soft skills among final year degree students. These skills include communication, teamwork, leadership, time management, problem-solving, emotional intelligence, and adaptability. Your role is crucial in preparing students for the professional world by enhancing their employability and ensuring they possess the necessary interpersonal abilities to succeed in various career paths.
Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Development:
• Design and develop training modules and materials focused on enhancing soft skills relevant to the workplace.
• Customize training content to address the specific needs and career aspirations of final year degree students.
• Facilitation and Delivery:
• Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars on various soft skills topics.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies, such as presentations, role-plays, group discussions, and case studies, to ensure effective learning.
• Assessment and Feedback:
• Assess students' soft skills through observations, simulations, and structured evaluations.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their strengths and areas for improvement, offering practical strategies for skill enhancement.
• Individual Coaching:
• Offer one-on-one coaching sessions to students who require personalized support in developing specific soft skills.
• Collaborate with students to create personalized development plans to track progress and achieve goals.
• Collaboration:
• Collaborate with academic faculty and career services departments to integrate soft skills training into the broader curriculum.
• Partner with industry professionals and alumni to provide insights and real-world perspectives on soft skills expectations in the workplace.
• Stay Updated:
• Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging soft skills requirements, and best practices in training methodologies.
• Continuously update and refine training content to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
