Job Description
1. Makes purposeful and appropriate lesson plans that provide for effective teaching strategies and maximize time on task.
2.Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning by employing a variety of appropriate teaching strategies.
3.Keeps current in subject matter knowledge and learning theory and is willing to share this knowledge for continual improvement of the curriculum.
4.Develops in accordance with guideline, stipulated rules of classroom behavior and appropriate techniques that are consistently applied.
5.Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues. Update parents on student progress, attend parent-teacher conferences, and collaborate with other educators and support staff.
6. Engage in professional development to stay current in their field. This can include attending workshops, conferences, and pursuing advanced degrees or certifications.
