Job Description

:

1. To support the ideals and policies of the school and to implement the school's philosophy and objectives.

2. To assume responsibility to teach and educate students in her/his class.

3. To develop the content of courses in relation to the school's philosophy, objectives and appropriate recognized program.

4. To assist in ensuring the safety of all children in the school and intervene if conflict should arise between any students.

Responsibilities :

1. To teach the classes assigned by the Primary or Secondary Principal.

2. To undertake other duties assigned by the Primary or Secondary Principal.

3. To be informed about the aims and curriculum of the area in which she/he teaches.

4. In the light of these aims and curriculum, to select the lesson content and activities which are appropriate to the needs of each student in her classes, in relation to the school's philosophy and objectives.

5. To maintain records of work covered by her classes.

6. To correct regularly and promptly all assignments completed by students.

7. To keep accurate, complete records of the progress of each student.

8. To inform parents of students' progress by way of report cards and, where necessary, letters or individual meetings.

9. To be available for all parent-teacher conferences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching: 5 years (Required)

• B Ed (Required)
