Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Social Science Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons in various social science subjects, including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching, a strong understanding of the social sciences, and the ability to foster a positive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery

: Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in accordance with the Current curriculum for social sciences.

Assessment & Evaluation

: Regularly assess and evaluate student progress through Tests, Quiz, Assignments, Projects.

Curriculum Development

: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the social science curriculum and resources.

Professional Development

: Stay updated with the latest educational trends, social science topics, and teaching methodologies through professional development opportunities.

Collaboration

: Work closely with fellow teachers and staff to ensure students receive a holistic education and to align teaching strategies across subjects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Science, or related field. Relevant teaching certification. Strong knowledge and understanding of the subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience using educational technology and online teaching tools. Ability to develop engaging learning materials and resources. Experience in Ed-tech platform is a plus

Experience:

Min: 1year Max: 4years of experience teaching Social Studies.

Personal Attributes:

Passionate about social studies and teaching. Patient, approachable, and adaptable to different learning styles. Creative, with the ability to make learning social studies exciting and relevant.
