Job Title : Social Science Teacher (Up to Class X)
School : New Modern School, Kamand
Location : Kamand, Tehri Garhwal, Uttarakhand

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Science Teacher to teach students up to Class X. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of social science subjects including History, Geography, Political Science, and Civics. Preference will be given to candidates from the local Tehri Garhwal area.

Key Responsibilities :

• Teach Social Science to students of classes VI to X as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare and implement effective lesson plans to enhance student learning.
• Conduct assessments and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
• Ensure classroom discipline and create an engaging learning environment.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and extracurricular activities as needed.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Science or a related field.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is preferred.
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a school setting, preferably CBSE-affiliated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Local candidates from Tehri Garhwal will be given preference.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : Competitive and based on experience.
