Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Studies Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in social studies to students from Grade 1 to Grade 8. The Social Studies Teacher will create engaging lesson plans, facilitate classroom discussions, and foster a positive learning environment where students develop a strong understanding of social studies concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum and educational standards for social studies across Grade 1 to Grade 8.
• Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and projects to evaluate student progress and mastery of social studies concepts.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to promote student behavior and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Studies, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Teaching certification/license in Social Studies or Elementary Education.
• Proven experience teaching social studies to elementary and middle school students.
• Strong knowledge of social studies content, including history, geography, civics, and economics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively engage and motivate students in learning.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom is desirable.
• Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?36,522.76 per month
