Job Summary:

As a Social Science Teacher for 7th to 10th grade students, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment in which students can develop their understanding of various social sciences including History, Geography, Civics, and Economics. You will design and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of school students, using innovative teaching methods and incorporating modern educational technology where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that inspire and motivate students, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.
• Utilize a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Foster a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and promoting respect and mutual support among students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools.
• Communicate effectively and regularly with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and academic achievements.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other required documentation.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with best practices in teaching and educational trends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ?500.00 - ?600.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 10 per week
