Job Title: Social Media Strategist

Location: Kolkata

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented Social Media Strategist to develop and execute our social media strategy across various platforms. This role involves planning, implementing, and managing social media campaigns to enhance brand visibility, engage audiences, and drive business growth managing end-to-end campaigns, and establishing meaningful connections with our audience. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, ready to roll out brand-focused content while actively monitoring and adjusting campaigns based on engagement metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development
• Develop, implement, and optimize a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals.
• Identify target audiences and set clear objectives for each platform.
• Content Creation and Management
• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and copywriters to develop engaging and brand-aligned content (images, videos, infographics).
• Create a content calendar and manage a consistent posting schedule across platforms.
• Campaign Planning and Execution
• Plan and execute social media campaigns for product launches, events, and promotional initiatives.
• Analytics and Reporting
• Track and analyze the performance of social media initiatives, campaigns, and channels.
• Use data insights to refine strategies, improve engagement, and increase conversions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience 5+ years as a Social Media Strategist or similar role.
• Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and familiarity with emerging platforms.
• Strong understanding of social media KPIs, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite), and reporting metrics.
