Job Description

Position: Social Media Manager

Experience : 8-10 yrs

Key Responsibilities:

• Social Media Strategy : Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with the company's marketing objectives and brand vision.
• Content Creation : Oversee the creation of compelling and shareable content across all social media platforms (including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). This includes text posts, videos, graphics, and interactive content.
• Campaign Management : Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns, promotions, and advertisements that drive traffic, engagement, and conversions.
• Analytics & Reporting : Analyze social media metrics, derive insights, and provide detailed reports to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Community Management : Engage with the online community, respond to comments, address inquiries, and foster relationships with influencers, customers, and partners.
• Brand Consistency : Ensure all social media content is consistent with the brand's tone, style, and voice across platforms.
• Trend Monitoring : Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep the brand ahead of the curve.
• Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of social media executives, content creators, and designers. Work closely with the marketing, PR, and creative teams to align efforts.
• Collaboration : Coordinate with various departments, including product, sales, and customer service, to ensure an integrated approach to social media management.
• Influencer Partnerships : Identify and build relationships with key influencers and thought leaders to amplify brand reach.
• Crisis Management : Handle sensitive situations or potential social media crises with poise, and take quick action to mitigate risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience : 8-10 years of proven experience in social media management, with a successful track record of executing and leading campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
• Platform Expertise : In-depth knowledge of all major social media platforms, their algorithms, and audience behaviors (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Creative Skills : Strong creative vision with experience in content creation, design direction, and writing engaging copy.
• Analytical Ability : Proficient in social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer) with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
• Paid Media Experience : Hands-on experience managing paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) and optimizing for performance.
• Communication : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Leadership : Strong leadership and mentoring skills with a history of managing and motivating teams.
• Crisis Management : Experience managing social media crises and sensitive online situations with professionalism.
• Brand Building : Deep understanding of branding and how to grow and nurture a brand's presence across digital platforms.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field. A master's degree or additional certifications in digital marketing or social media will be a plus.
