Overview
A Senior Social Media and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies that align with the overall marketing and communication goals of the organization. This role involves managing social media campaigns, creating engaging content, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Design and implement social media strategies to align with business goals.
- Content Creation: Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news).
- Campaign Management : Create and manage social media campaigns to support marketing initiatives.
- Performance Analysis : Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics, and report on ROI.
- Community Engagement: Respond to comments, monitor customer reviews, and communicate with followers to ensure high levels of engagement.
- Brand Consistency : Oversee the design of social media accounts (e.g., Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures, and blog layout) to maintain brand consistency.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
- Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure brand consistency and support overall marketing goals.
- Event Support : Provide on-the-ground support at events, including setup, documentation, and breakdown.
- Mentorship : Mentor junior social media managers to help them grow professionally.
Requirements
- Experience: 4-5 years of social media marketing experience, preferably with an established consumer brand.
- Skills :
- Proficient in social media analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- Excellent copywriting and creative content creation skills.
- Strong photography skills, both with camera and smartphone.
- Knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with online marketing channels and influencer marketing.
- Education •: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
