Job Summary:
As a Social Media Manager, you will spearhead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of our social media strategies to achieve organizational goals. Leveraging your 8+ years of expertise, you will oversee the development of content, campaigns, and analytics to optimize performance. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional passionate about storytelling, analytics, and fostering meaningful online connections.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure strategies are innovative and competitive.
Content Creation & Management:
• Oversee content creation, including visuals, videos, and copy, ensuring consistency with brand identity.
• Manage a content calendar, scheduling posts across all platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to produce high-quality, engaging content.
Campaign Execution:
• Design and execute paid and organic social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Monitor and optimize campaigns based on performance data and insights.
Community Engagement:
• Foster community relationships by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and professionally.
• Implement strategies to grow followers and drive engagement across platforms.
Analytics & Reporting:
• Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of social media efforts.
• Use data insights to refine strategies and recommend improvements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Mentor and guide junior social media team members, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
• Work closely with marketing, design, and content teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience managing social media accounts for established brands, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
Skills & Competencies:
• Expertise in social media platforms, tools, and trends.
• Strong creative and storytelling abilities, with a keen eye for design and content aesthetics.
• Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Experience with paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
