Reports To: Marketing Director / Event Manager Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team in the event industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of social media platforms, a passion for events, and a proven track record of creating engaging content. This role requires someone who is innovative, detail-oriented, and has the ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that drive brand awareness, audience engagement, and event attendance. Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Creation:
Develop and execute compelling content strategies for social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others. Create engaging posts, videos, stories, and event-specific content that align with the company?s brand and target audience. Community Management:
Monitor, engage, and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across social media platforms. Foster a positive and interactive online community, ensuring that all communication is in line with brand voice and values. Campaign Management:
Plan and implement social media campaigns that drive engagement, promote events, and support the overall marketing strategy. Work closely with the event team to ensure event promotion is integrated across all social platforms. Event Promotion:
Create and manage social media campaigns to promote upcoming events, including pre-event teasers, live event updates, and post-event follow-ups. Leverage live streaming, stories, and other interactive features to engage attendees before, during, and after events. Analytics & Reporting:
Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools. Prepare detailed reports on KPIs (engagement, reach, traffic, conversions) and suggest improvements for future campaigns. Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, PR, event coordinators, and creative teams to align social media strategies with broader marketing initiatives. Collaborate on promotional partnerships and influencer engagement to enhance event visibility. Trends & Innovation:
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, event marketing, and digital engagement. Propose new ideas and creative strategies to enhance social media presence and event marketing efforts. Qualifications: Experience:
3+ years of experience in social media management, preferably in the event, hospitality, or entertainment industries. Skills:
Strong proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.), social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.), and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.). Creative & Analytical Thinking:
Ability to develop creative social media strategies while utilizing data-driven insights to inform decisions and improve engagement. Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences. Event Experience:
Familiarity with event marketing and promoting large-scale or live events on social media. Experience with live event coverage, such as live streaming or real-time updates, is a plus. Project Management:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience. Preferred Skills:
