A political social media strategist is responsible for maintaining the public relations aspects of a political campaign on social media. They should have expertise of political campaigns and leverage their expertise to manage the digital facets of a candidate\'s campaign while aligning with party. Responsibilities Political social media strategist should be able to type and level of campaign: local, state or national. Deep knowledge on planning/conceptualizing, designing, execution/distribution, and promotion. A political social media strategist provides assistance to politicians/parties in developing their campaign platforms on social media, creating ads and posts as and distributing and promoting them to the relevant audience. Develop, implement and manage social media strategy after conducting competitive research, platform determination, messaging, and voter identification Plan, create, publish and share new content (original text, images, video, and code) on a daily basis that builds meaningful connections, increase awareness, and encourage neutral voters to engage with the politician Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules Analyze social data/metrics, insights, and social media best practices to measure success of campaign and improvise based on the feedback. Work with copywriters & designers to ensure content is informative & appealing Qualifications Candidate must have a bachelor\'s degree or pursuing a degree in political science, journalism, communication or PR. A background in political or legislative campaigns, with experience in marketing Brilliant political acumen and knowledge of how social media can be best harnessed to derive fair mileage out of political campaigns. Written ,oral communication skills in Telugu, Hindi , Marathi, Kannada will be crucial to put your point across as an extra advantage. Work Location Based on the work, candidate needs to travel , the preferred states are Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra.
