The Social Media Intern will play a key role in executing our social media strategy, increasing our online presence, and engaging with our community across various social media platforms. Responsibilities:
Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and followership.
Create engaging and relevant content for our social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
Monitor social media trends, topics, and conversations relevant to our industry and community.
Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate social media campaigns and promotions.
Track and analyze social media metrics and performance using analytics tools to optimize content and strategy.
Assist in managing and maintaining our social media content calendar, including scheduling posts and ensuring consistency in branding and messaging.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media platform features, tools, and best practices. Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
Passion for social media and digital marketing, with a good understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Google Analytics) is a plus.
Knowledge of graphic design and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, iMovie) is desirable but not required.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
