CPosition Overview

As a Social Media Intern, you will collaborate with management to boost brand visibility across social media platforms. Your key tasks will involve crafting compelling social media content based on ideas generated in team meetings. You'll also provide fresh perspectives on topics for our editorial calendar and explore creative approaches to effectively convey our brand message and promote our products.

In this role, you'll leverage insights from management to design engaging posts and striking visuals that spark conversations and enhance engagement on our social channels. Your innovative ideas and strategic mindset will be essential in elevating our brand's online presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Create engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, that align with our brand voice.
• Monitor social media channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments and messages.
• Develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for the company.
• Research industry trends and competitor social media activities.
• Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare reports on campaign effectiveness.
• Support the marketing team with social media advertising and promotions.
• Collaborate with team members on brainstorming sessions and content planning.
• Stay updated on social media best practices and emerging platforms.

Qualification and Skills Requirements

• Currently enrolled or completed Bachelor's or Master's degree program preferably in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in social media/marketing (preferred)
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and their audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram,LinkedIn, YouTube.
• Basic graphic design skills (experience with Canva or Photoshop or similar tools will be a plus).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• passion for social media and digital marketing trends.
