Job Description

:As a Social Media Graphic Designer at Pattern, you will play a pivotal role in our social media team, leveraging your creative expertise to drive engagement and growth across our client\'s digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with the social media team to conceptualise and execute visually compelling social content that resonates with our target audience. This role is for a casual position with an average of 10-12hrs per month.
Responsibilities:
\xe2\x97\x8f Graphic Design Creation:
\xe2\x97\x8b Design visually striking graphics, illustrations, and layouts for social media posts, ads, and campaigns.
\xe2\x97\x8b Ensure all design elements align with brand guidelines and messaging strategies.
\xe2\x97\x8b Collaborate with copywriters and marketing team members to brainstorm creative concepts.
\xe2\x97\x8f Content Development:
\xe2\x97\x8b Develop engaging multimedia content (such as videos, GIFs, infographics) for various social media platforms.
\xe2\x97\x8b Adapt designs for different formats and optimize them for maximum impact and usability.
\xe2\x97\x8f Collaboration and Communication:
\xe2\x97\x8b Work closely with the social media team to align visual design with overall content strategy and campaign goals.
\xe2\x97\x8b Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
Skills and qualifications:
\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor\'s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
\xe2\x97\x8f Proven experience (2+ years) in graphic design for social media, preferably in an agency or digital marketing environment.
\xe2\x97\x8f Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other graphic design tools.
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles.
\xe2\x97\x8f Experience with motion graphics and video editing software is a plus.
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of current trends in social media design and digital marketing.
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication skills and ability to present and defend creative ideas.
\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
\xe2\x97\x8f A portfolio that demonstrates creative thinking and proficiency in graphic design for social
media.
